Buriza-Do Kyanon is an exceptional unique Ballista found in Diablo 2 Resurrected.

Buriza-Do Kyanon is the only unique in the game with 100% Piercing Attack, so every bolt runs the full four pierces and hits up to five targets. That also makes every other source of the stat dead weight, since anything past 100% is discarded: Razortail and points spent in Pierce add nothing while it is equipped, which frees a belt slot and several skill points on an Amazon.

The 32-196 Cold Damage chills for 8 seconds, and pierce carries that chill down the whole line instead of onto one target, which is where the crowd control actually comes from. Freezes Target +3 reads like it should do more and does not. The missile formula drops the flat 30 that melee gets and then divides by three, so the +3 that would freeze 90% of melee hits freezes 20% of bolts against an equal-level monster, and Hell quarters the length down to somewhere between a quarter and two thirds of a second. Champions and uniques are chilled by it and never frozen.

+80% Increased Attack Speed lifts the Ballista out of the slowest crossbow class, and +2.5 to Maximum Damage per character level is worth around 225 by level 90 on top of the 150-200% Enhanced Damage. The +35 to Dexterity is the largest flat roll on any unique bow or crossbow.
